Query options

Sometimes you want to show a specific subset of videos. For this, we provide different query and filter options to tweak the videos you want to display. All options work on all above methods. The options we support are:

ean (string or array of strings) – Required#

This is the EAN code of the product you want to show video for. If you have a product with multiple EANs, you can provide an array of strings to get videos for all of them.

If you have no access to EANs on your product page, please contact us at support@autheos.com.

Example 1: Get video for a single EAN#
Autheos.button({
  ean: '1234567890123',
  ...
});
Example 2: Get video for a multiple EANs#
Autheos.button({
  ean: [
    '1111111111111',
    '2222222222222'
  ],
  ...
});

language (string or array of strings) – Optional#

A list of languages videos should be filtered on. The order you specify the languages in will also be the order in which videos are displayed. Videos with no spoken language will always be displayed last.

You can list any number of languages. A complete list of accepted languages can be found here.

Languages can be a full “culture name” (e.g. nl-BE) or just the language to cover all culture names (nl covers both nl-NL and nl-BE).

Example 1: First show Flemish videos, then Dutch, then any form of English#
Autheos.button({
  language: ['nl-BE', 'nl-NL', 'en'],
  ...
});
Example 2: Only show videos without spoken language#
Autheos.button({
  language: 'none'
  ...
});

type (string or array of strings) – Optional#

In case you want to display a specific type of video, you can set the type property. This will allow you to filter on one or more of the following video types:

  • advertisement
  • tutorial
  • product_presentation
  • unboxing
  • review
  • trailer
  • telesales
  • brand_awareness
Example 1: Only show tutorials#
Autheos.button({
  type: 'tutorial'
  ...
});
Example 2: Show unboxing and reviews#
Autheos.button({
  type: ['unboxing', 'review']
  ...
});
